I have so many goals for 2011 but one of my key objectives is to really see mamami by chet taking off. The business is now in its second year and the recession has not helped. I have very limited funds to do big glam marketing campaigns. I now need to find time and learn how to market my business on a shoestring budget. I wish I’d known about sites like BAM and Business with Baby when I launched. I’d have probably saved myself a lot of money. Looking forward I’ve learnt from my mistakes and hope to find as many people out there who can help me learn even more. I hope 2011 is a good year for me. Fingers and Toes crossed x

After losing out on several premises last year to open my boutique, and losing a good deal of money in the process my goal for 2011 is to find the drive and confidence to get up, dust myself off and head back out there. I intend to tackle my serious blockage of online skills to get my business known out there and make the internet work for me as a money making tool. Also and importantly to let go of the anger and frustration of being financially dumped by my Ex-husband and find the power to know I don’t need his help anymore and that I can manage ,no thrive in bringing up my children alone.
Thank you to you both for giving me the encouragement and ray of light to move forward. Happy 2011 to all us Mumpreneurs.

My business goal for my kid’s clothes business http://www.raspberryred.co.uk for 2011 is to increase revenue from my recently launched website. My personal goal for 2011 is to ensure I don’t get too involved in the business when my kid’s are around.
(I sometimes find it hard to stop working as I am enjoying it so much – a major pitfall I am finding working from home.)

I closed my business selling gluten free food online in early 2010 because it was losing too much money. I used to be a teacher but knew I could never work for anyone else again and even though my kids are now teenagers they love having me at home so I started to learn about internet marketing. I got myself a business mentor who suggested doing joint ventures after we did a survey of my list.
As a result I have teamed up to promote a weight loss programme which takes the approach of becoming healthy rather than counting calories after I had amazing success with it myself. We are now looking to get more coaching clients this year and will start running retreats.
Well done to all mumpreneurs – we rock! :)

May I call my goal my personal wish in my business? I’ve worked my socks off for a full year to renovate our Victorian old Doctor’s surgery (since 1831) and it’s ready to run as a centre for rejuvenation, transition and above all ‘a place where common sense can be re-introduced’. Next stage is now the outdoor spaces to be transformed into medicinal herbal and sensory gardens, having a borehole for quality spring-water, a sauna, pond, fire-place, meditation room etc, all to stimulate our senses to help us consciously return to our ‘common-sense’.
I’d love to have a team of people with similar visions to work together, to motivate each other; to be all self employed and really the sound-boards for each other stepping forward into blossoming.

I think I could make good use of this! Having been made redundant and then my husband was also made redundant – we are struggling!! A few more months and the mortgage will be a huge problem as redundancy money is exhausted. After suffering more ‘stresses’ in the last few years than most people would probably have in a lifetime – it’s hard to get motivated and organised (or organised and motivated). We only have a small house and there is no escape – testing times for our marriage for sure as we are together 24/7 with no money (ouch!) So, anything to make money really and advice and hand holding – thinking ebay/car boots maybe to start with & see where we go from there.

Sorry to go on – but I could really use this right now. (I know, we all could – that’s why we’ve entered!)
